Annette Bryan

Annette M. Bryan is serving her second term as a Tribal Council Member. Annette's previous work experience includes ten years as a Tribal Coordinator at the Environmental Protection Agency, and ten years as the Executive Director of the Puyallup Nation Housing Authority. Previous positions at the Tribe include working for Historic Preservation Office, the Environmental Department, and Chief Leschi ECEAP Program. Annette has served on the Election Committee and the Planning Commission for the Tribe. She has also served on the Tacoma-Pierce County Affordable Housing Consortium, the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians Housing Sub-Committee, the HUD Formula Negotiated Rule Making Committee, the Northwest Indian Housing Association, and as the Alternate on the National American Indian Housing Council. She has dedicated her career to advocacy of Native American issues and tribal sovereignty. Annette has a B.A. Degree from University of Washington Tacoma and a M. S. Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Tufts University. Ms. Bryan is honored and humbled by the faith the membership has placed in her to serve in this capacity to build on the foundation of those who've come before her and to protect the Tribe's resources for future generations.
